Matthew Gibbs is a well-trained, fully qualified piano tuner/technician serving Reading and the surrounding area.
He originally trained as an audio engineer, but his love for taking musical instruments apart and putting them back together won over and he subsequently spent three years at the Newark College Piano School training as a piano technician, although spent perhaps a bit too much of his free time sneaking into the other musical instrument craft schools at the college learning how to make other instruments, or into the machining workshop to make the tools he would need for the trade.
Since then he has been working freelance, tuning, repairing and restoring pianos in his home town of Reading.
